Recent Experience

Louisiana Machinery. Engine Field Service Technician. Broussard, LA. April 2004 – March 2011.

Troubleshoot and repair all Caterpillar diesel engines.

Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar natural gas engines.

Overhaul Caterpillar engines ranging from 6 ” bore model engines, 3300, 3400, 3500, 3600, and C280 model engines (in-frame and in the shop).

Troubleshoot and repair MaK engines. (Models M43, M32, GCM34, and some Legacy style engines.)

Repair dozers, excavators, backhoes, and all Caterpillar equipment.

Rebuild Caterpillar fuel systems and perform valve lash adjustments.

Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar engine electronic and monitoring systems.

Troubleshoot and repair all types of engine coolant systems.

Write up daily time tickets explaining work completed each day to ensure billing accuracy for customers.

Complete service reports documenting customer’s complaint, the cause of the problem, all repairs performed and all parts replaced upon completion of job.

Repair engines onsite on drilling rigs, production rigs, land rigs, various package units, boats, overseas, inland, offshore and in shop.

Read operation maintenance manuals, disassembly and assembly manuals, system operation manuals and electronic schematics.
