Country Inns and Suites Hotel, Orange City/Deltona, Fla. 2006 386-***-****
I was brought into the position of Assistant General Manager of the hotel to serve as second in the facility's leadership. I supervised the property and monitored the conduct of all associates of the hotel. I was responsible for problem resolution and all guest issues. I handled the inventory of rooms, products and hotel supplies on a regular basis. Payroll, scheduling and discipline were some of the duties I managed as well.
Courtyard Marriott, Lake Mary/North, Fla. August 2005 to March 2006 407-***-****
I was offered the position of Front Office Manager and acting Assistant General Manager for this property. On a daily basis I cared for the regular maintenance of the hotel as far as operating standards, employee/guest relations and reconciliation of any circumstances that were contrary to normal operating procedure. I interviewed and hired all front desk personnel. I did all the training for these associates as well as scheduling and job performance consultations. I was generally the ultimate decision-maker as to how things should be done on property in absence of the GM.
Courtyard Marriott, Maitland, Fla. November, 2003 to March 2005, 1750 Pembrook Dr., Orlando, Fla. 32810
I conducted a nightly financial audit in which I accounted for the hotels revenue and expenditures for that given business day. I was also responsible for settling guests charges and maintaining a 112-room facility from the hours of 11pm-7am. Any and all emergency situations were my direct responsibility. I safeguarded the clients while they resided at the hotel and handled all check outs, room service and comfort issues. Sebastian Peralta was General Manager and will be willing to offer information as to my work ethic and performance at this establishment.
Majestic Cleaning, Orlando Fla., August 2000-2007
As owner of a small Janitorial and Auto detail company I have handled quite a few residential and business accounts. Majestic has done once-a-week cleanings for 4,500 sq. ft. residences in Sabal, Maitland, Heathrow and Metrowest. Majestic had also done floor care for childcare facilities from Kissimmee to Longwood and fitness centers from Lake Mary to Sanford to Winter Garden. With Majestic I've learned the principles of marketing my product as well as myself. I've administratively run this company for 8 years, supervising marketing projects, payroll / budget and proposals. I closed the operation of this company to focus fully on a career in healthcare.
Arcadia Healthcare- Nursing and Respiratory Therapy Agency, 1996-1998, 5236 US Highway 19, Newport Richey, Fla. 34653
While with Arcadia I traveled as an agent in the field of respiratory therapy and cared for patients in local and regional hospitals. My credential was CRTT (or certified Respiratory Therapy Technician) by the NBRC. During a two-year period I traveled to extensive area hospitals including Munroe Regional in Ocala, Fla., LRMC in Lakeland, Citrus Memorial in Inverness and many more. I was stationed at Florida Hospital (South) for almost one year. My job was to perform a wide variety of respiratory treatments for in-patients from blood gases (and analyses) to emergency room critical care. Several physicians called me upon for my opinion of the patients abilities to tolerate certain treatments and status. Teresa Sylvester is the liaison at Arcadia, which would be most informative about my history with this company.
