During a company wide sales drive/contest, I was awarded an all expense paid 6 night / 7 day trip to Central America (Belize) with a scuba diving course & certification on the great coral reef. We also were taken on a trip into the jungles of the Mayan Ruins.
Retail Sales: Employed by Future Shop Inc. I started as a sales person and ended as an assistant manager. I was able to move from dept to dept, motivate salespersons, implement better display & pricing practices which increases sales, revenue, & profits in each dept to the point of competing with other departments nationally for the #1 respective departments in the 80+ stores in Canada and the USA. Attended management training which required commuting via airplane back and forth to Seattle,
WA weekly for 1 yr. Future Shop retailed electronics, PCs, appliances

Employed by AVAC of Myrtle Beach. I sold electronics, audio and appliances in a retail stand alone store. This was my first sales job and after a couple of years I was able to challenge and out perform even the best salespeople. Winning a $2000 TV, multiple other smaller TVs, Bose home theater speakers, Yamaha home theater receiver, Yamaha CD player, and many other prizes via sales contests.
