Position: Respiratory Therapist Duties: Take care of Ventilator dependent patients by doing patient assessment, update ventilator flow sheets, weaning resident upon doctor’s order. Also includes trach care, closed sterile suction, changing circuits, changing trach tie, also attend emergencies. Also provide inline nebulizer treatment, assist resident with transport ventilators to transport resident.

Woodmere Rehab and Dialysis center, Woodmere, NY (Mar 2011 to Present):

Position: Respiratory Therapist Duties: Take care of Ventilator dependent patients by doing vent checks, taking vitals, update ventilator flow sheets, weaning resident upon doctor’s order. Also includes trach care, closed sterile suction, changing circuits, changing trach tie, also attend emergencies. Provide BIPAP and CPAP for residents, assist resident with transport ventilators to transport resident from room to dialysis center etc.

Position: Respiratory Therapist Duties: Performed respiratory treatments in floor (Adult and Pediatric), attend code blue , performed ABG blood draw, run, and evaluation of ABG result ,preformed PFT tests like MIP,MEP,NIF etc Equipment(IPPB,CPAP,BIPAP,UABD,PIPER,METANEB,IPV,VEST, ETC) Setup and handling according to doctor’s order. Take vitals, O2 sat and decide the need of O2, suction of trach patient, CPT, Nasal and deep suction of pediatric patients etc.
