Electrical Motor Assembler, Joy Mining Machinery 1996- 2000
Duties included:
• Inspecting and testing of AC windings, DC coils, armature, rotor, and stator cores.
• Dynamically load test explosion proof electrical motors with voltages as high as 4160 Volts.
• Disassembly, assembly, water jacket testing, dynamically balancing, vacuum pressured impregnation, varnish dipping, and under cutting.
Electrical Motor Mechanic, Warwood Armature Repair 1994- 1996
Duties included:
• Required working with 3-phase electrical controls and motors along with single phase and direct current motors.
• Worked on various types of motors such as pumps, brake, gearboxes, cranes, slip ring, vibratory, and standard NEMA framed motors.
• Involved in “proto-typing” control panels suiting to customer specific requirements.
