Skills • I worked as the cook and general kitchen help in my previous jobs. I am comfortable in a kitchen atmosphere in any capacity. I independently catered two events show-casing my wide range of skills. The first of these while I was in high school for the female teachers' annual luncheon. The second was a wedding for approximately two hundred people. These catering events entailed all aspects from the menu planning, purchasing, preparing, and serving of the meals.

• I have done banquets, along with checking inventory, ordering and stocking inventory at the Waffle King restaurant.

Awards and Scholarships

• Medal of Distinction - Galeton Area School District. Galeton, PA. I received a medal of distinction for my senior project. This project was a cookbook that I personally created.

• Scholarship for Excellence - Galeton Area School District. Galeton, PA. I also received an Academic Scholarship for Excellence in Home Economics.

Training • Culinary Management - The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh, PA, 2007 to 2008. I was enrolled in Sanitation, college level math, and a Culinary Lab class where I acquired knife skills and learned a wide variety of cooking techniques.

I also enrolled in Hospitality Law, Management by Menu, and Food Service Technology.

Volunteer Volunteer 1999 to 2001

Girl Scouts of America, Galeton, PA

Performed various fund raising with the Girl Scouts and every year went Christmas Caroling. My sophomore and junior year in High School, I assisted my younger sister's Girl Scout Troop when they took their annual PA Grand Canyon Trip. I did relay for life two years.
