Drug Study Coordinator

As a Drug Study Coordinator, I ensured that my site adhered to Good Clinical Practices,

SOPs and study protocols necessary for effective and efficient running of the studies. I

ensured that all regulatory documents would satisfy site visit requirements. I worked

independently and managed various projects simultaneously. I am familiar with CRFs,

DCFs, IP Logs, Concomitant Drug logs, and Informed Consent Form process. During my employment, my site was listed as one of the top ten producing sites for a COPD study. During subject visits, I was responsible for rooming patients, taking their vitals, performing any study related tests necessary including phlebotomy, spirometry, EKGs and PEFs. I reviewed adverse events and diaries, discussed IP compliance and made sure provider was aware of any abnormal discrepancies.

Worked up potential donor from Statline notification, verified donor location, received

coroners release (if necessary), received medical/social history from family. Skills include

body examination for high-risk behavior, penlight exam of the eyes, sterilized/rinse eyes,

alcohol/beta dine prep on eyes, score sclera in size with scalpel, cut sclera with corneal

scissors and remove cornea for potential transplantation.
