PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Executive HR (HR Generalist) – Domestic Business, Wockhardt Limited, Mumbai, India (October 2005 – September 2007).
Responsibilities:
Recruitment in-charge of Corporate, Manufacturing and Domestic India Business (DIB) and have successfully recruited Management Trainees to Deputy General Managers for Corporate, Territory Managers to Zonal Sales Managers for Sales and Officers to Senior Managerial positions for Manufacturing Plants.
I have successfully met deadlines and closed all assigned position openings which includes roughly, 60 openings for the Corporate, 140 for DIB & 20 openings for manufacturing plants.
I have actively facilitated the induction of new employees on their date of joining the Corporate and managed the integral part of Basic Training (BTP) being organized for Field Staff at different locations.
Prepared payroll for all selected candidates and integrated them in SAP for generating offer letters.
Facilitated top management with decisions pertaining to promotions, transfers and terminations of Corporate and Field employees.
In-charge of detailed exit interviews and incorporation of exit feedback into the system for further evaluation and assessment.
Maintained an extensive database of potential hires and specific details on those being hired.
Independent in-charge of Veterinary department and its varied requirements. Responsibilities ranged from annual salary revisions to handling employee relations and all other end to end activities of the division consisting of 160 employees.
Independent in-charge for salary revisions of all Nutriuno employees after its acquisition. Worked with senior management of Nutriuno division in successful transformation of Nutriuno employees into Wockhardt’s payroll systems and work environment.
Played a key role in implementing Internal Referral program for Field employees that proved highly effective in minimizing attrition and filling vacancies faster.
Successfully implemented videoconferencing facility in Corporate and trained management and employees (other recruiters) in effectively utilizing the system which resulted in considerable cost and time savings.
Redesigned the company website as a successful recruitment tool in inviting suitable applications on position openings across Wockhardt Ltd as a part of strengthening the recruitment process.
