Materials Process Manager (2007 - 2011)
Primary responsibilities included: purchasing and managing all materials, reviewing drawings, planning and implementing, working as liaison between manufacturing and engineering departments, purchasing and tracking all in-house raw materials and purchasing outsource cut to size material made all cut to size drawings using PDF DXF format, also purchased machined completed components working with Quality Assurance to verify vendor competence.
• Implemented a cost saving plan that kept vendors competing against each other to provide us with the best quality product and pricing.
• Saved the company millions in rework cost by my drawing review process. In fact, saved $170,000.00 by changing the way the part was manufactured for specific project.
• Streamlined what was needed on the manufacturing floor for best shop flow by serving as a liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering.
