Position/Title: Sr. Mechanical Designer, Utilizing Parametric Modeler Solidworks and Autocad Mechanical, Responsible for Design, Modeling and Detailing for the manufacturing of the custom “EDBS”. (Enclosed Doctor Blade System) This product is the replacement for a rubber transfer roller in printing press applications. This system encloses the ink /coating against the ink roller thus providing an enclosed applicator chamber where the ink/ coating is “Doctored” from the roll with sharp blades that keep a uniform volume in the pitts engraved into the transfer roller.
