My current job duties entail performing security functions regarding Active Directory, mainframe security (RACF, ACF2, etc.), VM, Unix, AS/400, PeopleSoft, etc. working on projects, problem resolution for data security issues, involved with data security audits, SOX, etc. This includes tasks from creating user ids, resetting & unlocking passwords, writing datasets rules, creating groups, writing resource rules, perform system cleanup, involved with system upgrades, creating security reports for end users and for audit purposes, using Vanguard product, use Remedy for problem ticket resolution, etc. For mainframe, I work with MVS Z/OS 1.7 systems involving JES2, TSO, SDSF, ISPF, SAR, RDMS, EJES, REXX, DB2, CICS, JCL, etc. For Active Directory this includes creating OUs, granting permissions and special permissions to user accounts, group accounts, access to shares, directories, remote desktop into servers, creating Exchange mailboxes, distribution lists, computer accounts, admin accounts, etc. I use the MMC tool involving the Active Directory Users and Computers, Computer Management, Group Policy, etc. snap-ins. For PeopleSoft it involves creating user accounts, roles, permission lists, definition security, object security, etc.

The job functions that I performed included security involving PeopleSoft 8.4 for financials and 8.8 for H/R. This includes setting up LDAP/Active directory for each database, creating user accounts, permission lists, roles, query security, definition security, ran portal sync, creating security related queries, involved with security audits, etc. The modules that I worked on were financials (AR, BI, user preferences, etc.), H/R, CRM (during implementation and production), ELM (during implementation and production), created the payroll security by meeting with user groups, creating the spreadsheet with the panels, menus, etc., what roles and permission lists were needed and what users would be tied to what roles, query access, then implementing the security, etc. Got a little bit involved with ROW level security on the financial side.
