Hello my name is Jerry Pope I graduated from high school in 1998 after graduating I began working in the real world I quit my pizza delivery job at the end of the year and began working for a neighborhood friend who owned a company called Andrews Laser Works my duties there was to weld various parts after I completed my course that were used then for the Navy, Nasa, The Air Force, Delta and many other high end clients. Unfortunately after September 11th they lost their big contracts with the end result most the company employees lost their jobs including myself.
I worked their from 1999 till 2001.
After that I went to work in the Carpenters Union doing many different jobs with various companies in their apprentice program. I worked in this program for about two years ending when the summer of 2003 came. The reason I left is the work was not consistent enough being young and new all guys like myself got tossed around from job to job with constant layoff and with a son to support I had to find more consistent work.
Then feeling a little bit discouraged I left that field and began my personal training license and certification program and began a new career. I was able to sub-contract out my work at various gyms around town like fit works and gold’s with many clients on the side. I ran my own business from 2003 till 2006.
During this time spent in the gyms I met a variety of people and was approached by a recruiter for the Chippendales who said I have the look they happen to be looking for at this time and was asked to audition. So I took them up on their offer and next thing I know I was hired. I sold the remainder of my clients time to my partner and once everything was done I went on the road as a member of the Chippendales I toured all over the world from 2006 until 2009 when that time felt right to get out of the business I did to finish my school and pursue a career and support my family back home.

I am very quick at picking up new things and im finishing up my school at www.techskills.edu for a CIW Webmaster I am very computer savvy and proficient with word, excel, windows, and can troubleshoot your Html and Java problems as well as create them. There’s not much I can’t do and im always willing to learn something new and expand my mind. I am most interested in working for your company and ready to go to work.
