Conducted research on practical semiconductor microfabrication methods for integrated photonic devices:
? Developed novel method for fabrication of hybrid conventional/photonic structures
? Optimized the RIE process to obtain high aspect ratio etching of submicron gratings
? Demonstrated small area, low loss waveguide bends fabricated with conventional and interference lithography
? Demonstrated micropolarizer arrays fabricated with mapped holographic lithography suitable for visible and infrared light polarization resolved imaging
? Demonstrated fabrication of 3D woodpile structure that is holographically patterned and thermal-compression bonded, for high-efficacy thermal emitters
? Familiar with semiconductor microfabrication processes including holographic lithography, sputtering, reactive ion etching (RIE), etc
