Steel Stripes Wheels Ltd. is an Auto ancillary Steel Wheel manufacturing division of the Steel Strips Group with companies Head Office in Sector 26, Chandigarh. The manufacturing plant of the company is in Dapper, Mohali Punjab. The company has annual turn over of 700 crore. The company manufactures wheel to the various automobile companies here in India as well as abroad.

Deliverables

Supervision of various Production processes involved in manufacturing of wheel in C.T.L and Pickling Dept.

To plan out Production Plan for the various machines as per daily plan from P.P.C.

To feed Raw Material to 6 Production lines involved in manufacturing of Discs and Rims, (Wheel)

Supervision of team of 60 Workmen, 2 Foremen, 6 Operators.

Provide training to the Operators, Foremen, and Workmen regarding Processes involved in manufacturing of wheel.

Searching the various production improvement methods with the help of time and method study.

Seeking for new improvements, to be implemented, to increase the efficiency of the man-power, and by using machines in a better way.

Continual improvement in the design of machine and system making lesser fatigue to the work-men.

Managing the 5S system.

Managing the FIFO system for H.R. Coils.
