Dear Hiring Manager:
As a highly motivated and energetic professional with 18+ years of experience in the food and drug class of trade for a Fortune 500 company as a Corporate GM/HBC Buyer and Corporate Visual Merchandising Analyst. I was District Manager for a national merchandising broker and also a director of retail for a pool and spa company, I am seeking employment with a company that places a high emphasis on honest business ethics and a work environment that promotes success.
I have excellent analysis, cost control, and technical skills and have been involved in extremely complex mergers and transitioning of business operations and some technical systems. I am committed to promoting an environment of collaboration; to obtaining the best possible product costs; and to maintaining high service levels to maximize return on investment. With a proven history of identifying ways to streamline and improve work efficiency, I have been commended for my ability to strategically plan and organize difficult projects.
Give me a project and I will get it done, done right, and on time! Throughout my career, I have maintained a strong work ethic as a self-starter with high standards and a high level of loyalty. I do not allow challenges or obstacles to become excuses; I find a way to resolve matters in an ethical way for all parties involved. My dedication, skill sets and professional knowledge would be a valuable asset to your company.
If these qualifications are what you are looking for, I am available. I look forward to an interview with you soon.
Sincerely,
Shawn M. Owen
