Project Summary: - This project deals with the concept of Flexible Fulfillment through which a customer can order a product from any store and get it fulfilled from any other store or return it at any other store. The primary mission of this project is to continue rolling out Flexible Fulfillment functionality to additional stores while expanding the meaning of Flexible Fulfillment to include returning any product to anywhere. In this project, the following types of testing are involved:

This system includes key retailing functions such as inventory management, purchasing and receiving, pricing and promotion management, and allocation. It is a friendly, intuitive system built using the Oracle database and is designed to handle retail needs for department stores, grocery stores, mass merchandisers, and specialty stores. RMS is the heart of all retailing activities in family Dollar. RMS stores information about Organizational hierarchy, Merchandise hierarchy, Inventory on hand, Purchasing, Pricing, Transfers, Store Sales, Replenishment etc. The FDS Oracle Retail project involves testing of multiple enhancements on the existing RMS application. Project Summary: The Customized Library Services (CLS) unit of Baker & Taylor provides cataloging and processing services to libraries all over the world. In order to improve the efficiencies of the operations area of CLS and reduce the cost, a new approach to cataloging material needed to be developed. That was the purpose of the Online Routing System (ORS). The Online Routing System would replace the paper system for providing order information to the copy cataloger. Instead of working directly with the material (Book, DVD or CD), the Online Routing System would provide title information for the copy cataloger to perform their work. The web-based system would allow copy catalogers to perform their work from anywhere and not be restricted by the location of the material. The proposed system would provide CLS cataloging department with new ways to manage their workflow and not only improve their processes, but the processes and workflows of other CLS departments. Cognizant QA team was involved in end-to-end testing of this entire system.
