Employment History: Currently employed at San Antonio District Hospital as Nursing Assistant I from April 16, 2006 up to present.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitoring of vital signs, teaches patient hygiene and care, giving bed bath and oral care, administer perennial care and providing wound care.
Supervises staff in escorting newly admitted patients from admitting office to hospital ward, assists his/her clothing and valuables.
Supervises storing of patients clothing and valuables.
Supervises in screening the patient by gathering data and all information needed for the patient’s record and management.
Supervision of the assessment and preparation of the patient for examination and observes patient’s condition.
Contributes to the nursing process by reporting abnormal assessment data.
Assures patient’s safety during any activity by giving adequate support and care.
Supervision in the observation of patient’s emotional and spiritual need in appropriate manner and make adequate response to each.
Assists in dilatation and curettage done by the physician.
Supervision of the housekeeping activities, which ensure safety and comfortable physical environment and secures, distributes supplies and equipment necessary to maintain nursing activities.
Supervision of the proper referral to different departments for effective management and patient welfare.
Inform the nurse, problem arising professional non-professional personnel as well as evaluate the performance of the assigned to the units.
