Laboratory Skills
Had an insight into the anatomy of the human body and head in my penultimate
and final years. During this module, details and function of all the nerves,
muscles and bones were covered. Furthermore I also learnt how to detect the
signs and symptoms expected when the different muscles are torn or pulled.
During my final year, I specialised in physiological and pharmacology because of
interest in chemistry, mathematics and how different drugs affect the human
body. My mini-project was based on how to find an unknown agonist by using a
variety of antagonists to observe which counteracts the agonist.
Other skills:
Excellent knowledge the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and
PowerPoint.

how to ensure my projects stood out to win the appraisal of clients and

periods. I was also part of the girl's debate club and we won several debates
with our Brother School. I am a member of the Afro-Caribbean Society (ACS) of
the University of Sheffield which is involved in numerous youth programs in the
local community.
