Teaching Experience:
• September 2010 – Present. ESL Instructor. Talkbean, Seoul, South Korea. My responsibilities include teaching English as a second language to students of all ages in an on-line classroom. I teach a wide variety of course material including speaking, reading, writing, grammar and business modules. I am also involved in writing some of the course material used by Talkbean and I am a teacher trainer for the company as well.
• October 2004 – December 2010. ESL Instructor die Berater, Vienna, Austria. I taught business and general ESL courses to students ranging from teenagers to adults of all levels in a traditional classroom environment. My responsibilities included English language instruction, lesson planning, organizing and providing continuing education resources, progress reporting and evaluations. I also participated in the writing of some scripts used by the English Instructors at die Berater.

Business Experience:
• July 2001 – June 2004. Lead Photographer/Trainer. Lifetouch Inc. Worked most recently with the Lifetouch Church Directories division and my duties included training and supervision of new photographers and portrait consultants, photographing customers, portrait sales and customer service in a high volume, fast paced environment. Other responsibilities include various administrative functions and the recruitment of new personnel. Previously I was the Studio Manager for the JC Penney Portrait Studio in the Oxford Valley Mall, Langhorne, PA (another Lifetouch division), and I began my career with Lifetouch as a Photographer in the National Schools division in the San Francisco, CA territory.
• July 2000 – December 2000. Business Manager. Phoenix Communication, Inc., Bethany Beach, DE. Handled all administrative duties for this common carrier/telephony firm, a U.S. subsidiary of a corporation headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. Responsibilities included all facets of office management including the coordination and research of professional services, travel and entertainment arrangements, calendar and appointment scheduling, and customer service.
• November 1999 - June 2000. Photographer and Reviewer. wcities.com, London, U.K. Worked as a photographer and reviewer for tourist attractions in Vienna and Salzberg.
• April 1997 – June 1999. Client Services Director. STAT Nursing, Inc., E. Hanover, N.J. Responsible for administrative functions and all facets of client services for this in-home healthcare nursing service which specializes in caring for those with spinal cord injuries. Duties included case management and problem solving with individual clients and their families, the solicitation and preparation of various contractual agreements with health insurance companies, the administration of marketing, promotional and public relations activities, was instrumental in the administrative preparation and maintenance of annual CAHC accreditation, and the recommendation, writing and implementation of company policies. Other duties included employee recruitment and supervision, the monitoring of quality assurance procedures, as well as the staffing coordination of nursing personnel.

• Sept. 1995 – April 1997. Corporate Librarian – Marketing Administrator. SH&E, Inc., New York, N.Y. Was hired as the Corporate Librarian for this aviation consultancy and was then promoted to Marketing Administrator. Handled all promotional activities including the preparation, printing and distribution of corporate qualifications and brochures, personnel recruitment, press releases, annual and semi-annual mailings, and various advertising material for 3 domestic and 3 international branch offices. Other responsibilities included the coordination of trade show participation and speakers, the implementation and maintenance of several databases pertaining to the inventories of all company produced material, and reporting to the Executive Committee with regard to publicity concerns.
• Dec. 1993 - March 1997. Literary Agent. Slingshot Publications, London, U.K. Duties included the sales, promotion and distribution of published works on the topic of alternative medicine for the United States market. Other responsibilities included research and compiling data for manuscripts as well as writing and conducting interviews with experts in this arena.
• Nov. 1992 – Jan. 1995. Operations Manager. InHome Health Services, London, U.K. Handled day to day operations in the United States market for this mail-order vitamin company. Duties included sales and customer service, market research and analysis, and acting as liaison between customs officials and consumers.
• 1987 – 1992. Scheduling Coordinator/On-Call Coordinator. Worked for several in-home healthcare nursing services during this period on a part-time basis. Responsibilities included shift assignments, scheduling and recruitment of nursing personnel, referral intakes, dispatch for medical emergencies, and general administrative duties.
Volunteer Experience:
• March 2004 - June 2004. Worship Planner. Sat on the worship planning committee for the First United Methodist Church in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, which implemented and planned for their modern worship service.
• Jan. 2001 – Oct. 2001. Mission Chairperson and Praise Service Team Leader. Headed committees on behalf of the Millville United Methodist Church working to recruit and coordinate volunteers to fundraise for various local, national and international charitable organizations; wrote and lead their Saturday evening Praise Service.
