part planning and purchasing for local engineering.

Oversaw the planning and purchasing of materials for all prototype builds

through two months of mass production. Micro managing the lead times and

design lockdown critical paths.

Factory test assembler then promoted to group leader of model assembly in

the 2 –way communications division my first year. Piloted new “Bullet”

line WIP process and transferred product overseas.

Transferred to the iDEN Nextel division as lead new product planner in

addition to special projects assignments. Increased production and

streamlined factory materials processes.

Promoted to Purchasing Supervisor of ~6-8 production buyers with additional

~8-10 indirect global buyers during new product launches and production

part constraints. Responsible for all material’s related issues and get

well plans worldwide.

Designed buyer planner reports using ad hoc queries, pivot tables, macro’s

and automated timed reports from flat files updating data points for

decision making and supporting dashboard management overviews. Our team

provided 24/7 support.

Our team implemented and documented a program that cut overhead by 65%,

reducing inventory to $4M from $11M.

Promoted to Procurement Specialist as individual contributor being assigned

the most complex of new product programs with multiple factories, contract

manufactures and global stock locations.

Mentored and cross trained new team members. Lead all conference calls and

local meetings with stakeholders, holding additional meetings when needed

to resolve issues quickly.
