Mine maintenance and production superintendent, primary responsibilities include installation and maintenance of mine infrastructure and training of inexperienced workforce to operate and repair new underground mining equipment while focusing on safety and production. Responsible for 10 salary supervisors and 50 hourly employees. Initiated training style designed to create and foster individual volition.

PHILLIPS MACHINE Beckley, Wv 2010-2012

Service technician for mine equipment manufacturer responsible for training of new operators and maintenance personnel at mine sites in China, North America and Central America. Job required ability to work independently with little or no communication from company due to remote mine locations. Was typically selected for the toughest assignments due to my ability to complete task in timely manner and for completing jobs in one or two trips thus reducing cost for travel and logistics for equipment support.

Mine electrician, belt and power move foreman responsible for movements of high voltage distribution centers during advance and retreat phases of mining. Supervised a crew of 7 hourly employees to advance or remove conveyor belt haulage during 8 hour idle shift ensuring uninterrupted production for oncoming shifts.

Underground shift maintenance foreman responsible for 5 construction miner sections in support of long wall development. Supervised 3 salary and 10 hourly employees for miner sections and 5 hourly employees for outby work. Implemented AIM maintenance module to assist in project identification and preventive maintenance program.

Underground mine electrician and miner, worked various shifts for troubleshooting equipment and repairing . Proficient and expert operator of all underground mining equipment including Joy and Bucyrus continuous miners, Fletcher and Long Airdox roof bolters, Atlas Copco face drills, Joy, Phillips Machine, and Narco shuttle cars, Sandvik, S and S, Fairchild scoops and surface Cat loader 992,988, and 980.
