Worked for various support services contractors, April 1985 – July 1, 2011, at NASA Lewis/Glenn Research Center, Brookpark, Ohio
Technical Work Group Leader, Industrial Utility Group. Worked with unique government and industry requirements and championed changes within company necessary to address customer requirements. Planned and organized facility wide infrastructure upgrade project. Responsible for temporary workspace, coordination of security access, and acceptance of work performed. Completed on time and on budget without errors or rework. Developed new processes for logistics program to control stock supply distribution, converted warehouse operation to JIT system. Efforts resulted in 35% reduction in stock supply consumption. Lead crew efforts for wind tunnel, cooling tower and various other industrial cleaning operations. Provided State licensed (Ohio) Pest control services for John Glenn NASA facility. Working as team lead, executed Mercury abatement and lead paint removal and handling projects, to EPA standards and without safety violations, reducing on-site contaminates by 85%.
