WORK HISTORY
October 17, 2000 – Munger, Tolles & Olson, LLP (Case Clerk/Legal Assistant – 37.5 hrs per week)
March 7, 2010 Interact professionally with attorneys, other firm personnel, clients, opposing parties, third parties, co-counsels, witnesses and outside vendors. Work closely with paralegals and attorneys in preparing document for production and cases to go to trial. Maintain client and matter files, including organizing case rooms and documents, filing pleadings and other documents, preparing files, labels and indices, maintaining and updating information notebooks and retrieving and re-filing documents. Prepare documents for production, deposition and client and expert use, including implementing document control or numbering systems (“Bates labeling”), executing any required redaction, overseeing duplication efforts, conducting quality assurance, maintaining integrity of original copies and preparing document for shipment. Maintain document and information databases, including coding documents, entering data, sorting and searching within databases and extracting data. Assist with court filings, including assembling motion papers and exhibits and assisting, as needed, with filing and service requirements. Assist with trial preparation, including compiling trial exhibits and notebooks and fact and expert witness material. Process invoices from outside vendors; capable of working under pressure and able to meet several deadlines.

September 28, 2000 Organization of deposition library and case files. Responsible for heavy filing and typing of indices. Assist attorneys and paralegals in document productions. Create several documents on WordPerfect and Word. Enter attorney time sheets, open and close client files. Process incoming and outgoing mail.

January 31, 2000 Assist attorneys and paralegals to translate legal documents (English/Spanish). Interview Spanish-speaking witnesses, prepare declarations, and maintain a large number of case files.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Extensive internet knowledge and familiar with computer and internet programs such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access XP, Concordance, Opticon, Powerbrief, Livenote, Lextranet, Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional, Power Point, Windows, Web view, Applied Discovery (ADI), Electronic Data Viewer (EDV-KROLL). Able to type 55 words per minute. Fluent in Spanish and English.
