Academic Projects:
Design, Build and Testing of Buck Converter
• Laid out the buck converter using Eagle and assembled the PCB for evaluating performance. Tested for Line and load transient Response, Voltage Ripple on oscilloscope.
• Tested the device for load, line regulation and efficiency. Used Venable Phase and Gain Analyzer for testing phase and gain margin.
Design and Testing of Low Dropout Regulator, Synchronous Buck Converter, TPS62200
• Bench Tested for efficiency, line and load regulation, voltage ripple, under voltage lockout, soft-start, Gain and Phase Margin Measurement, line and load transients.
• Tested it using Programmable Load, Oscilloscope, Multimeters, Power Supply, Venable Phase and Gain Analyzer.
Design of Low Voltage Smart Temperature Sensor Front End
• A new low-power low-voltage CMOS voltage reference based on sub threshold MOSFETs was developed.
• Schematic and Layout done using Cadence tool. Temperature and Line Sensitivity were measured.
Design, Build and Testing of 8 bit D to A converter
• Designed PCB layout in Eagle CAD and tested signal integrity on Hyperlinx. Tested the D to A converter for VIH, VIL, Power Consumption, continuity, IIH, IIL
• Tested the D to A converter for FSR, gain error, settling time.
• Tested for INL and DNL on LabView using National Instruments (NI) MYDAC.
Testing of Opamp OPA337
• Designed and tested Opamp opa337.
• Tested the Opamp for continuity, leakage current, PSSR, bias currents.
• Power supply test, gain, output and input impedance tests.
Testing of CD4071 [OR gate]
• Used ATE (Very Low Cost Tester (VLCT)) from Texas Instruments.
• Performed Continuity, Leakage, Propagation Delay, Power Supply Current tests.
