Recruited by COO as a business development executive and engineering strategist to turnaround underperforming operations, generate and grow business, and draft ground-floor business strategies and procedures for sales and marketing. Developed plans, designed, and managed all engineering and sales activities. Advisor to COO regarding all daily business operations, financials, activities, and future plans.
Solicited and landed 5 new major accounts, generating $2 million plus of new annual revenue, breaking a two-year run of no new business in the company.
Due to increased sales, generated the need for near double capacity; identified facility and negotiated contract for new, larger building.
Designed business, and sales and marketing procedures, and introduced procedural policies – a company first. Monitor competitive information; publish monthly sales forecast.
