Responsible for incoming quality, manufacturing issues, design issues, CAPAs, and quality improvement for six commodities (sheet metal, magnetics, gaskets/insulators, labels/overlays, packaging, and media) and forty eight suppliers. Performed quality audits with both the supplier base and internally at AE. Assured “copy exact” requirements were upheld during audits with the supplier base. Approved ECO’s, part release, and collaborated with design engineering on DFMA’s and appropriate industry standards. Developed a GD&T course and trained appropriate individuals. Worked with inspection and design engineering setting up sheet metal inspection on CMM. Key Contributions:
