Plant Layout 2D 3D Design

Create manufacturing system layouts for casting, stamping, forging, assembly and machining programs.

Train and supervise employees.

Calculate floor space requirements for all the in-process material handling and storage.

Approve OEM Machine tool plan and utility drawings.

Design, procure and fabricate material handling tools, devices and equipment.

Practice and experience in specification, purchasing, designing, detailing, welding, machining, assembling, painting, wiring, programming, debug and startup of all types of industrial equipment.

Model all machine tool components, framing, piping and wiring in Pro/E Wildfire.

Create ladder logic diagrams and build panels.

High pressure hydraulic supply and return piping systems.

Perform ultrasonic testing of plant process steam piping systems.

Conduct velocity testing on installed mist and dust collection systems to verify design intent.

Design tools: Pro/ENGINEER 9.0 thru Wildfire 3.0, AutoCAD, UG NX2.0, IBM Fast CAD 2.0, Bentley XM

Project management tools: P3, MS Project.

Operating systems: Windows, UNIX, MS-DOS

Programming: Lisp, Basic, PLC5, Jetter Jetsym, Motoman XRC, HTML

Machine shop: Order, Receive, Cut, Mill, Drill, Weld, Assemble, Paint, Wire.
