2005 to present
MCG Architecture
Project Director
Managed a variety of retail, hospitality, government and health care projects and clients. Developed new market strengths for the company in healthcare and government project types. I managed clients, contracts, proposals, presentations, consultants, staff and construction observation for projects ranging in size up to $35M. I brought in to the firm JP Morgan Chase, netting 15 branch banks at $1M +/- construction cost each. I improved existing relationships with Furniture Row at $5M each, and Ethan Allen at $3M each. I developed long relationships with local developers as well as Wyndham Worldwide Hotels at $12M each. I began developing relationships with Centura Health and Newport Beach Medical Center. I brought in a design/build partner in Centerre Construction which netted a $15M renovation of a federal building in Sacramento and could have led to more projects. I am experienced in creating proposals and submitted a variety of them with MCG including mixed use, office building, healthcare, hospitality and government packages. I am experienced with contract writing and negotiations, including contractor and subcontractor construction contracts. My negotiation and presentation skills netted me the Centennial Colorado Retail Project of the Year for Ethan Allen – 2008. I am well versed in AutoCAD (20 years plus) and am familiar with Revit and BIM. I recently wrote and submitted a proposal on the UCHSC Health & Wellness Center for a $25M new build.

I Managed the facilities development IDIQ for the USAFA, including a program rebid after 5 years. I teamed up with a minority engineering firm and successfully won another IDIQ under their flag. I managed senior health care corporation developers and a variety of other client types including education. I maintained in-house program and project delivery methods. Formed teams, proposed on and landed several design/build and design assist projects including a $10M renovation of Building 67 at the Lakewood Federal Center. I developed relationships with healthcare groups including Heartland Medical Center in Kansas and Kobe Cardiovascular in Arvada. I began a relationship for program delivery with Lockheed Martin.

I extended relationships with other LMA facilities including Harlingen, TX. I developed a relationship with a large architectural firm to assume facilities management when the department was outsourced. I managed multiple projects for multiple programs ranging from NASA to DoD to facilities workplace safety. Maintained program and project delivery methods. Managed budgets, contractor bidding, construction and cost control.
