Comparison of Depth Area Duration (DAD) Curve Climatologically different (Arid, Semi-Arid & Humid) Catchments (Punjab, Pakistan).
Main Objectives of the Project:
• Collection of 20 Years rainfall data and mapping of study areas and then Georefrenced them in ARC GIS 9.3
• Analysis of Time Distribution of Rainfall by using different Techniques (SCS Type II & Wirasatullah Khan formula) and compares the results.
• Draw Mass Curve using SMADA & EXCEL Software’s and compares the results.
• Draw Isohyets on maps of study areas by using GOLDEN SURFER 8.0 and manually and compares the results.
• Calculate PMP of Study Areas
• Draw DAD Curves of Study Areas and compares the results of Different catchment (Arid, Semi-Arid, Humid)
• Calculate PMS and PMF of all study areas.
