SAP Version – SAP CRM 3.0
? SAP CRM Middleware Consultant
• Was member of a team of 6 with one team lead.
• Every object passed involved strict ISO quality related checks.
• Executed work orders for creating applications. Involved in design, coding and testing.
• Certain objects created required a deep understanding of BDoc flow process and generation in Middleware, synchronization process between the R/3 and Middleware, Replication and Realignment rules to distribute the information, mapping of data from Legacy to Middleware through ASCII Adapter etc.,
• Conducted research for work orders, involving thorough review of the implementation of Legacy to Middleware interface, for data transfer.
• Monitoring of queues and jobs, and subsequently created IDocs and BDocs, and bug fixing and reprocessing them in case of errors is a day-to-day activity.
• Created ASCII interfaces for the newly created BDocs. The process involved creation of the temporary tables in the MW, creation of the generic BDocs, and mapping of those provisional BDocs to the new Bdocs created. Created the interfaces for loading the data into the MW temporary tables through ASCII adapter (Two segments of the generic BDoc were populated by reading a single record from one data file).
• Reviewed an Automation module for the outbound queue cleaning process. For this process, a Daemon program is created which monitors and identifies the outbound queues from which the messages has not been picked up by the Laptop User for long time. Another program developed is scheduled by this Daemon program to clear all the messages and extract the CDB data to the outbound queue pertaining to this site. Also created custom tables to maintain the statistics of the entire process.
• Developed a program, which is used to delete the messages in the outbound queue.
• Involved in the design phase for a program, which bundles the BDoc messages into a single BDoc. This process reduced the transmission time of the field sales force.
• Also designed and developed programs to correct Replication and Realignment tables in case of inconsistencies occurred.
• End-User Support is the day-to-day time-critical regular activity where I acted like a Help desk. Issues if any will be raised as Tickets or Cases in the Vantive application by the end-users (Personnel working in any area of CRM system) which are to be resolved in timely fashion.
• Studied the project implementation part specifically in CRM Middleware and conducted sessions to the newcomers in the project.
• Developed a program that is used to download the missing sales details in the MW from the OLTP.
