This cover letter has been written to express my interest in the proposed position at your company. With over 15 years of experience in the aeronautical engineering and physics fields, I have proven successful in hundreds of projects. Along with my years of experience, I also have completed two masters degrees and continue to study for my doctorate within the next 5 years. My skills have proven themselves with many of the years working with the United States Government and researching for two popular television shows on the History Channel.

I’m looking for a new opportunity to work with a reputable company and be able to use my knowledge to build the best new technologies. I am available to start immediately if local and I am willing to relocate to certain parts of the United States for the position, starting within 2 weeks to 1 month. My schedule and salary is flexible and can be further discussed in an interview.

I co-managed this family bait and tackle business after a death in the family. Business was sold in April 2012. I managed multiple aspects of the business including employees, schedules, ordering and stocking merchandise, customer relations, taxes, deposits, vendor relations, and managing the day to day operations.

January 2006 – February 2009 History Channel (Monster Quest & UFO Hunters) – Remote Position

RESEARCH CONSULTANT

Worked as a research consultant for many various projects provided by the History Channel. Working from my home office, I consulted with other scientists on images and evidence, wrote theories, completed various worksheets, mapped out migration patterns, organized statistical data, and used various computer skills to accomplish the tasks.

July 1990 – October 2005 United States Government – Washington D.C.

ENGINEER FOREMAN AND RESEARCH SCIENTIST

During my 15 years with the United States Government, I created many new technologies and defense system in support of our military. I have also worked on a handful of submarines to analyze issues with their systems. My security clearance was above top secret. My time was spent working as a team leader and independently. I routinely gave briefings and lectures to other top officials and engineers. Assigned jobs were completed on schedule. I have proven excellent computer skills, ability to read blueprints and engineer designs, learn and successfully use various machinery, design and build computer systems, drafting skills, and researching skills.

MASTERS IN AEROSPACE ENGINEERING AND PHYSICS SPACE SCIENCES

Successfully completed two masters degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Physics Space Sciences. My degrees were completed with a 4.0 GPA, participated in math, chess, physics and astronomy clubs along with tutoring fellow students and studying botany sciences.
