SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

▪ Accomplished a value engineering program resulting in $2 million savings on a high-visibility project, allowing a new North American headquarters and labs be built.

▪ Managed a three year effort in providing an EIS submittal and subsequent permitting. This was approximately two years faster than those performed by federal agencies.

▪ Successfully completed all phases of design and construction for offices and food processing center within a fixed and underfunded budget of $5 million.

▪ Completed the largest multidiscipline project ever undertaken by the engineering office. This included all non-process related design and construction for a new chemical plant.

Managed multi-million dollar dredging related projects including feasibility studies, Environmental Impact Statements, permits and design. Work included federal and state agency coordination, and community liaison activities. The design team included several independent consulting firms requiring close coordination.

▪ Maryland Port Administration Dredged Material Management Plan: Collaborated with a team of consultants to perform studies and reports assessing multiple sites within the Baltimore Harbor. Coordinated ongoing updates and revisions to the Port’s mandated 20-year Dredged Material Management Plan.

▪ Masonville Dredged Material Containment Facility: Conducted feasibility study, EIS Support and Design for the $150 million facility in Baltimore to prepare for placement and containment of a portion of harbor dredging for the next fifteen years.

Largest multidiscipline project ever undertaken by Lockwood Greene’s Savannah office.

▪ Multiple Assignments: Multiple design and construction projects for Georgia Ports Authority to develop new container storage fields for containerized cargo movement from ship to chassis storage areas to highways, gate modifications, rework interior roads, drainage modifications, new and rebuilt container cranes, dock rebuilds, etc.. Work also involved inspection, repairs and modifications to port facilities.
