This was an SAP BI Implementation project which involves implementing Sales and Distribution and Finance. This project basically involves in Extracting the data from SAP R3, building up the Data Targets, providing validated reports to the user and Setting up the procedures for ETL process.

Role and Responsibilities:

Extensively involved in setting up of procedures for extracting data from SAP R3 by using Generic Extraction, and Customizing LO Cockpit.

Involved in Creating and Maintaining Info Cubes, Operational Data Store, PSA, Info Objects, Info Areas, Data Sources, Info Sources, Transformations, DTP’s and process chains

Involved in Customizing standard Business Content Info Cubes in the areas of MM and SD modules like 2LIS_12_VCHDR, 0SD_C03 ( Sales Overview), 0SD_C01 (Customer) and loaded R/3 data and designed and developed various reports on Business consolidation cubes.

This is a support project which involves loading daily loads and implementing the transports for the continuous improvement process. This project basically involves escalating prioritized tickets regarding extractions, performance issues and also loads failures. This also involves in meeting Adhoc requirements.

Role and Responsibilities:

Monitor the data loads from various source systems like R/3, Flat Files, MDM by means of process chains.

Analyze the errors in the data loads and report to the corresponding team.

Manage master data, text and hierarchies.

Maintained Process Chains and scheduled them in order to load Master Data and Transactional Data from SAP R/3 File Source Systems into BW.

Extensively worked with PSA in Monitoring the Data Transfer from Source Systems into BW

Loaded the data from R/3 to BW using Initialization with delta update and full update methods

Extracted data from MM & SRM modules and uploaded the data into the procurement cubes.
