Job Description

1.To manage and supervise all aspects of an event with the core focus on Social and Non Social Events; be it large scale or small scale.

2.To arrange events banquets, corporate annual functions and parties.

3.To properly arrange for travel of guests to the venue, rooms reservation, and food arrangement.

4.To make essential arrangement regarding booking of the venue, coordinating with Food & Beverage Department, Golf Department, Rooms Department, and choosing related vendors.

Planning, organizing, and coordinating the event to ensure a successful outcome.

The job duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

1. Communicating with the client about their wishes for the event.

2. Planning the event and preparing the event budget.

3. Establishing the dates for the event.

4. Developing a comprehensive checklist of all required actions, responsible party, and deadlines.

5. Identifying venues for the event, among others the ceremony, reception, banquet, and activities, menu planning, hiring related vendors.

6. Developing Event Themes.

7. Selecting related decoration, equipment, and supporting details related to the event themes.

8. Arrange transportation, rooming lists, activities details, program and itinerary.

9. Preparing guest lists and seating arrangement.

10. Managing and supervising contractors, caterers, and other related vendors.

11. Ensuring the events meets all health, safety, security and building standards.

12. Continual liaising with client over the course of planning and the event itself.

13. Trouble shooting and problem solving.

14. On-site event management on the day of event.

Staff Management and Development:

1. Lead and direct the professional and personal development endeavours of staff,

through sending them for relevant in-house / external training courses, performance

evaluations, special projects and increased work responsibilities.

2. Direct and map out a succession plan and career pathway for each team member in

order to provide clear direction for growth and improvement in performance and

contributions to overall success of the Department.

3. Recruit, hire, and train new staff that can complement the current team in order to bolster the quality of operations and service delivery.

Job Description

1. Concept

- Develop concept outline

- Function concepts

- Spa themes showing individual treatment rooms, baths, and other function areas.

2. Cost Planning

- Develop Business Plan for the Hotel & Spa including detailed cost estimates, revenue projections, and other financial planning.

3. Spa Components & Treatments

Define components of the spa including:

- Details for treatment rooms and equipment are mentioned in the Business Plan as well as at the Capital & Operational Costs estimation

- Mineral water baths and facilities base on Company Research

- Lighting, plumbing, electrical and ventilation needs

- Planning of materials used in the facilities; as well as general aesthetics.

- Develop spa treatments appropriate for the spa.

4. Design Planning.

Assist company designers in planning the interior space and functions areas, circulation areas, and exterior spaces.

5. Operations Development and Implementation.

Develop an operations plan for the Hotel & Spa, including :

- Budgeting

- Organization chart and job descriptions

- Staff recruitment & Staff compensation

- Standard operating procedures (SOPs) for areas such as guest procedures, locker room procedures, logistics, and other operational procedures.

- Recruit key personnel for the Hotel & Spa.

- Determine Hotel & Spa prices

- Develop Spa Menu

- Establish operations budget and planning based on revenue projections.

6. Marketing and Merchandising.

- Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop a sales and marketing plan, and creates marketing and public relations material.

- Develop merchandising plans appropriate for the Hotel & Spa.

7. Training.

- Establish and execute a recruitment and training program for Hotel & Spa employees.

8. Oversee Hotel & Spa Opening.

- Manage and oversee all aspects of the opening of the Hotel & Spa.
