Founder, president, owner and CEO – built the business through consistent telephone marketing and follow up. OAC was one of the first small businesses in NH to offer customized computer training.
Services expanded to include NH Job Training Council as prime contractor. My marketing strategy consisted of superior telephone and customer relations; customized programs/services of quality, flexibility, and cost efficiency. I created quotes, training manuals, contact lists, proposals, presentations, and marketing materials. I was responsible for all aspects of running a small business from locating and moving to a building and purchasing equipment to sales, marketing, account management, human resources, billing, and audits.
Relationship with NH Job Training Council afforded me the selection as NH Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration among other recognition’s, and the expansion of New England School of Business Services.
In June 1991 founded New England School of Business Services with two sites (Londonderry and Portsmouth NH). Through ongoing telephone marketing I expanded the customer base; developed and delivered several customized, industry-specific, entry-level skills programs to dislocated and unskilled workers; coordinated training and consulting services to business and private sectors; and built a superior network of highly skilled consultants and trainers.
