2009-present: Senior Beauty Advisor: WALGREENS-5505 Balboa Avenue, San Diego, CA 92111: Full time Senior Beauty Advisor for major national cosmetic and fragrance retailer. My duties are: to help customers find the products that meet their needs and sell customers as many products as possible. Job duties involve suggesting products, explaining how products work, demonstrating how to use products, performing makeovers and operating the cash register. My duties also include: to meet sales goals, build customer relations through follow-up calls and mailings, recruit new customers, order new products, handle and manage inventory. As a beauty consultant I introduce customers to the latest products by offering samples, demonstrating their use and explaining their benefits. 2007-2009: Voluntary translate refugees’ paper work for the United Nation in Turkey:

While in Turkey I performed voluntary work as a translator for people who could understand the refugees’ process while at the United Nations. The duties that I performed:

• Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained;

• using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used;

• researching legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation;

• liaising with clients to discuss any unclear points;

• Proofreading and editing final translated versions;

• Providing clients with a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a word-processed document;

• Using the internet and email as research tools throughout the translation process;

• Providing quotations for translation services offered;

• Consulting with experts in specialist areas;

• Retaining and developing specialist knowledge on specialist areas of translation;

• Networking and making contacts.

2006 - 2007: English Assistant teacher at a private elementary school in Iran:
