Position Sr. Support Engineer
Project This project aims at Ecommerce business of all the Unilever Partners over the Web and VAN. This includes business transaction placed by the Unilever Partners in the North America Region.
The EDI Gentran is a project which handles their business transactions like Invoicing, Orders, Order Planning, Sales, and Dispatching etc thru a single window. All these transactions follow EDI X12 format. The Transactions are carried through various platforms and are integrated to a single UNIX server for the global updates. The Transaction are carried out through various communication software like Connect Enterprise, Sterling VAN, etc and gets processed by the Gentran server for further mapping and translation.
We provide support and carried out the following activities:
• Understanding the existing AUTOSYS batch jobs and gathering the requirements to do the enhancements to the existing scripts
• Implemented the scripts into production successfully and did the warranty support
• Did the production support and answered the user queries in timely manner

Project
As2 Support is a Transaction Processing of Server-Client Architecture. Unilever has 400 brands spanning, 14 categories of home, personal care and foods products. Unilever touches a great height in nutrition care. It has several Trading Partners like Walmart, IBM, and Atlas cold; they are sending and receiving messages from one end to another end. For this transaction processing Unilever using the Mailbox server which acts as Production Server for several trading partners. This application helps in sending and receiving mails from one trading partner to another trading partner.
We provide support and carried out the following activities:
• Understanding the existing Tivoli jobs and gathering the requirements.
• Modifying the Tables, Views, Triggers, Stored Procedures and Indexes that are present in Oracle environment.
• Implemented the scripts into production successfully and did the warranty support
