• Assemble analytical data and information necessary to review and accept hazardous waste for storage and treatment at the TSCA Incinerator. This task includes the review of waste codes and analytical methods as required under the Incineration and Waste Storage Environmental Permits. • Interface with the Analytical Services Organization concerning required analyses and the results. Prepare burn sheet documents, which establish the sequence and waste streams that must be incinerated. Information in these documents include characterization data, maximum feed rates, the waste description, and operating temperatures.
• Perform per-treatment calculations so requirements are met under the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Standard Permits for every waste feed combination specified in the burn sheets and submit monthly reports of waste incinerated to the US Environmental Protection Agency. These activities maintain the incinerator in compliance with air emissions and waste discharges.
