I am a UK trained Quantity Surveyor educated to Masters’ level. Experience with contractors and PQS Consultancy firms representing clients both National and international. Experience on wide range of projects including the infrastructure project in Gabon manage by Bechtel International worth 1.8billion pounds. This project includes: football stadiums, road construction, hotel construction and residential buildings. Construction of Societe General Bank in Yaounde (Cameroon, Africa) value circa US$20million, The major projects involve with includes: the Emirates Stadium circa £450milion, Transport For London (TFL) East Croydon Tram Tracks depot and on tracks project worth around £98million, refurbishment project worth £18milion of a 10 storey building at Liverpool street in London, and Bovis lend lease project (123 Bank side Television podium at London Bridge worth circa £300million., Far East experience including with Glavstroy Construction in Moscow- Russia during the construction of Moscow School of Academic worth US$19million

Employment History

(07/07/2010 -2011) Bechtel International: Role: Contract Administrator

Duties include:

• Review of contract data and establishing a file for each contract sign between the client and contractors. Contract check list in accordance with FIDIC Form of contract.

• Assisting the Contract’s Manger in contracts formation and highlighting areas of possible claims. Coordinating weekly site meetings and taking minutes

• Site visiting and reporting to the Commercial Manager and also invoice control.

• Approving contract commitment authorization and dealing with change orders.

• Preparing a lock-book for all invoices, change orders, approved contracts and signing invoices for payments to contractors. Updating the project director about work progress, planning, and other issues that needs immediate action.

(20/01/2007-23/12/2009) Consultant (Systech Group Ltd): Role Quantity Surveyor hired by TFL (Transport for London) UK.

TFL (Transport for London) project on Tram Tracks at East Croydon as the main QS base in office and site running day to day activities of the project and reporting to the contract’s manager as explained below.

Duties Include:

• Assisting in approving of final account, drafting contracts and cost control

• Assisting in dealing with delays, abatement against contractors and set off.

• Managing contractors and reporting to the contracts manager

• Measurement and track survey

• Making recommendation of emergency track repairs and reporting to the team leader

• Inspection of contractors quotation, monthly valuation of work carried out by contractors

• Review of schedule two quotations and clerk of work function.

• Assessment of variation

Achievements included: Review and approved variation in contract and the procurement of various packages of work, and the successful Contracts administration of day work and lump sum contracts.

2006 to 2007 C.P.F Construction. Role: Project Surveyor

Duties include:

• Negotiating contracts with subcontractors

• Coordination of day to day activities on site

• Monitoring progress of work and cost control to keep cost under budget

• Assistant in interim payments on monthly basis control of invoices and making recommendation for payments

• Managing subcontractors

Achievements included: Meeting dateline of project and successful management of various subcontractors and identification of areas for possible claims/variations for the Contractor.
