Vice President of Operations

Directly responsible for the internal business operations of finance, information technology, human resources, order management, distribution, facilities and sales/marketing administration. Manage a staff of 80 professionals. Reporting directly to CEO.

• Spearheaded an executive management team (Operation Profit) that reduced overall expenses by $20M. Responsible for $80M operating expense budget.

• Successfully negotiated and sub-leased 300K square foot facility in Mexico which reduced expenses by $9.0M (over 5 year term).

• Reduced the overall supply chain from Asia to U.S. from 16 weeks to 6 weeks through business process improvements and technology enhancements.

• Improved the key assets within the company by developing or improving business processes and utilizing enabling technology. Reduced inventory days from over 100 days to 40 days (Supply Chain Management) and reduced A/R days from 63 days to 34 days (Order to Cash).

• Re-designed the overall telephony/data environment solution to increase effectiveness as well as reduce costs by $800K/year (VPN, unified messaging, consolidation of servers).

• Developed and implemented worldwide financial closing process that reduced the time to close the books from three weeks to two days.
