Responsible for the erection, Construction, Pre Commissioning, Commissioning, start up and supervision of electrical and instrumentation on a new Heat Recovery Steam Generator unit in a 100MW Power Plant.
Job description & Responsibilities:
• Total cost of HRSG-24 was aprox. $70,000,000. Electrical/instrumentation job $20,000,000. Aprox.
• IMC subcontracted the foundation, but self-performed all structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, boiler assembly and erection work including 0 accidents reported during project activities.
• E/I purchasing, installation, testing and troubleshoot. Scheduling E/I progress using Primavera to ensure cost vs. estimate and set -up an accurate Start-up date. Electrical and Instrumentation crew peaked at 50 technicians with three supervisors.
• Track installation/ calibration progress per client specification. Creation of Loops Folders and quality /loop-check/ calibration/commissioning and pre comissioning forms per client specification.
• Installation and calibration of instrument using hart protocol (Yarways level control, mass flow XMTr, pressure XMTr, temperature XMTr, level XMTr. DP cells, PH and conductivity xtmrs. Set up pneumatic system including control valve and pressure switch.). Calibration torque valve, Mov, Dampers, guillotine, isolation valve, positioners and feedback.
• Installation electrical equipment bldg., 13kv switch gear, substation, 4160 and 480 MCC. Auxiliary battery back –up including UPS, Bat charger and battery bank.
• Installation of fire protection system whit interface alarm on DCS.
• Installation of Plant loop system and data center communication, using fiber optic, geotropic system, cat5 and data hi-way cable to communicate between new unit-control room and plant main server.

Job description & Responsibilities:
• Project designed, developed and managed by Technip Italy, whit a base cost of $600,000,0000.aprox.( One of the biggest project on the Caribbean at that time)
• PIC was subcontracted to install, test and pre-commissioning the complete electrical/ instrumentation and some mechanical activities. The E/I cost for installation, testing and pre-commissioning activities was around $27,000,000 whit 0 incident reported.
• Responsible of change orders, cost and administrative activities involving a complex project.
• Supervise all field activities including the QA/QC department.
• Installation of more than 2500 instrument to ensure a safe and clean function on very hazard environments.
• Calibration of electric and pneumatics instrument and valve using hart protocol.
• Wire up a data center building whit servers, DCS. Plc and Pc station.
• Wire, test and commissioning two 13kv dual speed compressors feed by 12 ea special armored cable.
