Brief Profile Description:
This is a Pre Sales profile in the Global Pre Sales team, which provides pre sales support to regional Latin America, North America and other global sales team on GSM, UMTS/HSPA and LTE technologies. This is an end to end profile which involves solution from Radio Access, Circuit core, Packet core and Transmission perspective. I lead the team of the experts from these different domains to meet end to end solution.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• To build and present standard or customized technical solution to the customers and underline the technical, financial and commercial benefits.
• To analyze RFPs and RFIs and correspondingly prepare technical and commercial proposal as a response.
• To understand the overall scope of the RFP from end to end solutions point of view and correspondingly prepare a WinPlan for the given case.

• To do the SWOT analysis and Win-Loss analysis for the bid.
• Participated in response to many LTE (4G) bids from end to end solution prospective.
• Working on 3G, HSPA and 4G (LTE) end to end bids, which covers solution from LTE radio to Evolved Packet Core network.
• To prepare the end to end technical solution for the whole bid, which involves solutions on Radio Access, Circuit core, Packet core.

I was working in Core network design & optimization team for 2G/ 2.5G/ 3G telecom network designs. I was also looking after Core network hardware dimensioning, BOQ preparation and node ordering. Apart from that I take care of planning of Airtel’s North India network as a team member. The planning is based on connectivity of nodes and commissioning issues.

Artificial environment which was constructed was based on practical losses of signal strength and fading, path loss.
The methods of overcoming the various losses were described like diversity techniques.
