Yahoo-SM is a combination of league of applications and tools (as Search Mark, Double Click Dart, AD Center, and Y-CRM). All the legacy tools as ICM are also managed under league of Yahoo tools. Database needs of all above mentioned are served by SQL Server. Combination of SQL Server 2000 and 2005 are used extensively. Critical applications should run constantly and others are allowed little downtime. We use blend of High Availability options based on criticality of servers (Log Shipping, Mirroring and Replication are configured).
