Micro-mouse January 2011 – June 2011

Lead Hardware/Software Designer

. Used Arduino for microprocessor and C language algorithm

. The project required a 4 member team to design a robot to solve a maze with the shortest time.

The initial run uses a right hand algorithm where the robot will follow the right wall to solve the

maze and save the solution in memory. The second run the robot will move full speed after

calculating the fastest path from the knowledge gained in the initial run.

Universal Wireless Sensor Network (using Zigbee) October 2011 – June 2012

Team Leader

. Uses C language algorithm with BitCloud libraries to design a mesh network to send and retrieve

data

. The project requires the design to be as small as possible to retrieve information from each

coordinator using Zigbee to communicate. The information must be able to transmit data at least

10 meters and have a battery life of 2 years or more

RS485 March 2012 – April 2012

Research

. Uses CadSoft Eagle to design a schematic and board for a RS485.

. Create custom libraries for special components.
