2/08- 11/07 Total Systems Contracting- Completed projects and provided personnel training. Also provided technical support and adjusting. Projects included: *VA Hospital, Albuquerque, New Mexico- Foreman/Superintendent in charge of renovation of 8 gearless elevators including fire system related to elevators and customer relations. Job profit estimated at 50%. *VA Hospital, Fresno, California- (sub-contracted to Crockers, Inc.) Kept old equipment in operation and disconnected group. *VA Hospital, Wilksbury, Pennsylvania- Assisted in aligning motors and bringing job up to date. *GSA, Old Post Office, Seattle, Washington- Hired to assist in finishing project several months off schedule.

1994-2006 Ver-Trans Elevator Company- Founder, President. Maintenance and construction company with offices in Alexandria, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and service in New Orleans. Annual Sales 3+ million. Largest contractor doing business with State of Louisiana. Responsible for personnel training, sales, and marketing. Maintained 12,000 sq.ft. machine and manufacturing shop.

Traveled to various problematic locations to troubleshoot. Also acted as superintendent for a VA job where Montgomery was the prime contractor.

1980-1988 Montgomery Elevator Company- Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mechanic. Responsible for 122 lifts of all makes and models at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

1990-1994 Continental Hoisting Consultants- While working at Montgomery, I also worked several weeks out of the year as inspector/consultant testing elevators on federal projects throughout New York, Kansas, and Missouri.

1976-1980 U.S. Navy- Stationed on Aircraft Carrier, U.S.S. America. Responsible for maintaining all elevators, bomb lifts, aircraft lifts, missile conveyors, and supply lifts.

In conclusion, this resume’ is only a brief overview of my vast knowledge and experience gained from 30+ years in the elevator industry. As you can see, this knowledge and experience covers every facet of the industry including maintenance, repair, modernizations, construction, technical support, trouble shooting, adjusting new equipment, cost/sales analysis, inspections, testing, programming skills, and job estimating/cost control for all elevator makes and models.
