Worker’s Compensation Claims Adjuster with 5+ years of experience in handling worker’s compensation claims for Wal-Mart corporate office (Claims Management Incorporated). Seeking employment with a fast paced organization that will challenge me with opportunity for advancement in the company.

I have developed excellent skills in customer service working with claimants, store personnel, management, physicians and attorneys. I am experienced in interviewing witnesses, obtaining the pertinent facts of the case and determining compensability on claims determined by state statutes. I am also responsible for setting reserves on claims, medical management and the oversight of all litigation processes. All information is entered into the computer. With my caseload between 110 and 140 there is a lot of phone and computer work involved.

I have extensive experience with all office equipment and most computer software.

I work with computers on a daily basis and have been able to diagnose and repair any problems that I have had on my home computer and my laptop. I have put in my own sound cards, worked a bit in the bios (with help from my book received with my computer) and have reloaded operating systems, (again with the help of a manual).

I also have call center experience with Clientlogic working with Buy.Com taking incoming calls and helping people with tracking orders, giving information on products, explaining sale items and navigation of website. I also did answer e-mails and helped customers with password problems etc. I worked for AAA Auto during my tenure also dispatching tow trucks to stranded vehicles. We did some work also for Dell computers answering inbound calls for customers.

I also have previous medical experience as a Certified Medical Assistant, which has provided knowledge of medical terminology, coding and processes. I assisted in minor surgeries, procedures. Did lab work and also some of the CPT coding. Was responsible for maintaining patient waiting rooms and having all the necessary equipment in the room for surgeries etc.
