Vice President, Human Resources, Corporate and The Americas, 2003 – 2010

Promoted to top HR position to reverse decline in effectiveness that had increasingly hampered the ability to deliver HR services in a cost effective way. Deployed web-based Learning Management System (LMS) to provide online training and assessment solutions. Decreased annual training travel costs by $57k and increased accessibility to training content for 300 U.S. mid-level managers.

Conducted succession and development planning meetings region-wide to assess strength of leadership team for top 50 key management positions. Created “The Way Forward” to facilitate short/long term development. Developed and implemented core competencies, and Balanced Scorecard performance management tool.

Designed and deployed management development program called “Connect-Develop-Perform” targeting 300 mid-level U.S. managers/supervisors (including strategy, communication plan, webinars, and classroom training and e-learning).
