PROFESSIONAL SYNOPSIS
16 years of experience in Weaving Preparatory Department working with conventional and latest state of art technology machines feeding Projectile, Rapier and Air Jet weaving machines with core strength in Planning, Team building and Training.
• Setting up of 2 new High value yarn dyed Shirting project Indus Fila Pvt ltd, Bangalore and Oswal F.M. Haemmerle Textiles Ltd.- Kolhapur (A joint venture project between Oswals’s and F.M.Haemmerle Textiles – Austria)
• 5 months training at F.M.Haemmerle Textiles – Austria for learning their work practices and culture and implementation of the same in India.
• Presently responsible for the Overall operations of weaving Preparatory and production planning of Weaving (330 Looms) and Weaving Preparatory. Also given an opportunity can handle Weaving also independently.
• Have a good hand on analysing greige fabric defect and getting the m/c attended accordingly to minimise the fabric rejection.
• Can confidently set new products like Linen, Fancy Yarn both in Greige and Yarn Dyed Varities.

As a General Manager – Weaving Preparatory and Weaving Planning
Complete responsibility for running the show of 234 looms, managing the total preparatory production and quality consisting of 1340 spindles of soft and hard winding feeding 7 tons Yarn dyeing plant, 15 Sectional warping m/c’s, 2 Sizing m/c and Auto Delta Drawing in.
Also responsible for product development and sampling department and PPC for the entire Weaving to meet the desired OTIF.
Have successfully established the Fancy Bottom Weights and fine count yarn dyed varieties along with 100% Linen sorts.

Responsible for Weaving Preparatory Department consisting of 25 Autoconers with state of art technology models like 238, 338 and latest X5, 9 Sectional Warping Machines, 2 Direct Warping Machine, 4 Sizing Machines (Sucker Muller, Ambica and Jupiter), 2 Staubli Delta Auto Drawing-in machine, the whole set up is feeding 330 looms having a production capacity of 15 lac mts p.m.

As the Process Owner of the Weaving Preparatory Department for the plant capacity of 6 million mtrs of High Value Yarn Dyed Fabric per year and shortly to expand from 6 million to 12 million mts/year.
• Involved in the finalization of the building layout for the entire plant especially for Weaving Area.
• Machine specification finalization for the weaving preparatory department.
• Man Power Planning, Criteria for selection of skilled and fresh operators are prepared based on Physical, Attitudinal, Education, Skill and Colour Blindness Test and Designing of the training module for the workers training along with RTTS.
• Video shooting of work practices for machine operation at F. M. Haemmerle Textiles - Austria for training of workers in INDIA.
• Erection and commissioning of Winding machines (SSM TW2-W & CW2-W), Direct & Sectional warper (Beninnger), Sizing machine (Karl Mayer-Rotal), Automatic Drawing-in (Staubli Delta-110) and Sample warper & Sizing machine (Suzuki and Yamada).
• Setting up of systems, machine parameters and process controls of all weaving preparatory processes.
• Successfully started all preparatory machines and started to feed 124 looms and achieved target 98% fresh finshed fabric packing.
• Training at our partner’s plant – F.M.Haemmerle Textiles – Austria for learning the soft skills and techniques for the work processes and culture.
• Hand on experience for the sampling process (Preaparatory) for yarn dyed varieties (Part of product devlopment and collection Preparation / Planning).
• In March 2008, promoted from M1 grade to M2 grade as a Sr. Weaving Preparatory Manager.
• Confidently can handle high value yarn dyed product mix consisting of count range 50s/1 Ne to 80s/1 Ne, 2/80s Ne to 2/200s Ne and 60s lea to 100s lea.

• Weaving Preparatory Department is having one RBE Sizing m/c, 2 Vamatex – 108 Sectional warping m/c, Single end Sizing m/c and Single end Warping m/c for sampling and 14 Winding m/c for hard packages and 4 winding m/c for soft packages. Plant is producing Yarn Dyed Shirting’s on 42 High Speed Sultex Smit G6300 Rapier m/c and has a capacity of 9000 mts per day.
• Mainly responsible for Production, Maintenance, Planning, Training, Recruitment and Quality.
• To set the weaving preparatory department right from machine parameters and process controls.

• Weaving Preparatory Department is equipped with 2 Sucker Sizing m/c and 1 Beninnger Sizing m/c, 3 Benninger Direct Warping m/c, 1 Hacoba Direct warping m/c for Filament yarn, 5 sectional warping m/c feeding 550 Sulzer Projectile Weaving m/cs and 24 Picanol Airjet Weaving m/cs.
• Mainly responsible for Production, Maintenance, Training, Recruitment and Quality.
• Key role in Production Planning and Dispatch.
• Shifted and erected the second hand Beninnger Sizing Machine from Afprint Nigeria to Spintex Mills Nigeria
