Description: Duke Energy is a U.S based Fortune 500 company involved in Electric and Gas production and transmission. It has assets of more than $70 billion with more than 6 million customers. FRE Project is a major project initiative launched in 2005 to improve Duke’s financial business processes and systems. One part of this project is ReRoute, which involves re-routing all the current interfaces between the FIHUB and PeopleSoft 8.0 to interface with PeopleSoft 8.9.

Informatica Experience: In these projects, we used almost all the transformations present in Informatica including Aggregator, Union, Router, Update Strategy, Expression, unconnected/connected lookups, mapplet etc. At backend scripts are used to run any sessions.

Responsibilities:

To study and understand business and technical requirements of the system.

To create the design documents as per the new Requirements.

Description: Main objective of the Data Warehouse is to increase business efficiency. Data was extracted from various sources and transformed into oracle data warehouse database using informatica and various OLAP reports developed using Business Objects. This data warehousing and business intelligence project is developed for multi dimensional analysis and market analysis. Data Marts are designed for sales and financial analysis of products and production units.

Responsibilities:

Used transformations like aggregators, connected & unconnected lookups, filters & sequence and many more, Configure sessions and batches.

Closely worked with the reporting team to improve query performance for the reports running in OLAP tool with Business Objects.
