•
Education & qualifications
University of Liverpool, Liverpool, England
2009-2010 Master Degree MSc-Simulation in Aerospace Engineering
Modules include all core aerospace engineering concepts; in addition Configurational aerodynamics, flight handling qualities, viscous fluid flow, simulation in aerospace engineering, aerodynamics and research skills & project planning.
Final Year Project: CFD computations of dynamic stall. My dissertation includes applications of CFD package for the unsteady aerodynamic analysis of Onera OA209 helicopter aerofoil. The aim of the project was to generate CFD data for OA209 3D aerofoil model and compare this with the experimental data for studying the effects of various parameters like dynamic stall vortex and flow velocity on dynamic stall phenomenon.
(Other Group Projects)
Flight Handling Qualities: To modify the computer model (FLIGHTLAB) of Wright Flyer-1903 in order to improve its longitudinal stability by fixing the CG position of the model & testing these improvements using flight simulator.
Configurational Aerodynamics: To analyze given aircraft configurations and estimate their aerodynamic performance by utilizing an array of computational tools (panel methods, linear theory, CFD, ESDU data sheets) considering the limiting factors like Drag, Lift, Landing Distance & Engine Power available etc.
Punjab Technical University, India.
2004-2008 Bachelor Degree BEng-Mechanical Engineering (First Division)
